It started with a simple question: what if there’s a better way?
Long before there was a company, there was a way of thinking. Our founder, Jeremy Hood, could never look at how something was “supposed” to be done without wondering if it could be done better — not because the standard was wrong, and never out of ego, but out of a real love for building and inventing more efficient ways to get things done. If you could dream it, he figured it could be built.
After seventeen years working across industries — heavy manufacturing and operations chief among them — that instinct found its purpose. In 2015, EIGHT.39 opened its doors to solve a specific problem for the dental industry: audio/video, structured cabling, and security cameras, done properly. One solved problem led to the next, and the company grew into deep expertise across a range of technology platforms — every solution shaped to its environment instead of forced from a template.
That founding instinct never left. It’s still the engine. We keep pushing forward — new hardware, new software, better processes — improving every division we run.
